Six years ago, two trustees of TIS visited St. Joseph’s cemetery in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, hoping to find a grave marker for Katherine Buckley, buried in the Bethlehem section of this cemetery. Only a gap was found in the row footing where Miss Buckley was buried; there was no stone for her, nor for her uncle, also buried in the multi-level plot.  In years since then, TIS members have donated funds for the purpose of marking Titanic passengers’ graves, and on May 22 at 3:30 p.m., a special ceremony will be held at St. Joseph’s  to unveil a marker and to remember Katherine Buckley.  Una Reilly of the Belfast Titanic Society will be a special speaker at this poignant service, in the presence of members of the Buckley family.

Below is a short entry about Miss Buckley taken from Encyclopedia-Titanica.
